101 More Thanks Letters From Our Christian Singles Around The World!

Hi all! Edward here (101Administrator). Every now and then I like to add some of the nice letters and emails that I get sent from our single and now not-so-single members! Below is a collection of many that have been in my inbox for some time that I didn’t get time to post – until now!

I think you’ll agree there are some great letters of encouragement that members have sent to me in this collection (I have redacted some names where necessary as the messages are more important than names etc). They consist of suggestions, than you’s, as well as lots of reports of successful connections made by our single members – and of course many marriages!

Hi Amina,
I did start the site myself quite a few years ago in 1999.
What inspired me? The fact that Christians including myself felt pressure to go to many churches and even look outside church to find a partner as churches themselves were not really looking after singles or helping them to find partners.
How did God make this known to me – seeing lots of lonely people feeling at a loss as to how to meet new people that might be suitable.

Yes I go through all applications myself.
Marriages? I haven’t counted – not had time but its in 100’s and 100’s and I have two stacks of testimonial printouts beside me here I am struggling to add to my testimonials pages – I get some marriage testimonials each month and Im sure many don’t let me know when they do judging by the thanks letters I do get.

Thanks for taking the time to write 🙂 Yes I worked quite hard on the new site design – Google forced me to mobilise it so I thought Id do the design at the same time – long overdue.

I am not single no – but was when I started fusion, and I did wish someone had helped me out yes and ended up looking in the wrong places and that concerned me that other Christians were and are still having to do the same.

Most people that get involved in singles work give it up when they find someone but I have no intention of that because getting people out of church an marrying into the world is bad and someone needs to do something that is not profit driven – fleecing the flock etc.

By the way, see if you can ask your friend to email me a short paragraph / testimonial and / or wedding pic if she hasn’t already – I really need any I can get hold of as I lost tonnes of testimonials / wedding pics on an old laptop that died – entirely up to her of course!

I enjoyed the Fusion101 setup, and met several nice people, one who made an impact on me, though we knew we were not meant to marry, and eventually lost contact.

Even though I met someone to marry through my day to day life after I stopping looking, I was blessed through Fusion101. I just have a simple website, and that is overwhelming at times, so I understand how hard it must be as a one man band!

Thank you sooo much indeed. Just for the story, I am very very grateful indeed to fusion 101. Better late than never as goes the saying. I had to email you to get an important email that my now husband sent me way back when we first met on your site!!!

Thanks to you guys, I met my soulmate, my friend, my husband online here. I have never been a net user before and being a christian 100% with an important religious family background, I was being very discreet. I think it was an act of God & meant for it to be. Together with several christian friends, we were preparing ourselves for the pilgrimage to attend the World Youth Day in Australia with millions of Christians around the world coming to meet the pope. It was an extremely important event for me as I prepared for this trip for months.

A friend/colleague of mine at that time, subscribed me on fusion101 & insisted that I complete my profile which I eventually did and thought it would be nice to correspond with other christians, sharing their views and lifestyle etc. So, that’s how my fairytale started. Gavin & myself met online with regular, daily exchange of emails, a beautiful friendship which developed and transformed into love after nearly 2 years, and on 24th September, we got married!!!

He left England for my country of birth, my island Mauritius and together we have been living here for 4 years. Sadly, because of his parents both his mum & dad had serious health complications and as we are both very much family bonded. We took the decision to move to England to be closer to them & look after them. But that decision we knew will have harsh consequences on us…being apart, separated for months before we will be able to be together. And that is because of the new implemented laws in 2012 whereby  the uk Home office brought significant, harsh changes affecting hundreds of couples like us,… specially Putting a price on love.
So, we are having to go through a lot of paper-stuffs, costly procedures, soliciting legal advisers etc etc & give evidence of our relationship ( reason to why I contacted you to retrieve our emails) But, what God has bring together and united, no men scheme can separate. We are faithful to his words and we are believers…
We know that like us, there are thousands of couples and families having to go through this harsh laws implemented in 2012 which you might have heard. So, please pray for us and all the persons in this situation.

My husband and myself have done what we think should be done and what all Christians would do. There is nothing in this world that can replace our parents. I lost my father at an early age and my father-in-law went through heart surgery at the beginning of last year . My mother-in-law has several health issues too.so we had to take this decision of moving to England so that my husband can be closer to them and both we could look after my mother-in-law.
So, here it is. We are constantly emailing, phoning and we know that God is with us to keep us strong & keep our faith alive.We are longing to see each other and we are impatient for the days to elapse so that we can be back together.

There is nothing more in this world that we want currently apart from continuing our couple life.

I’ve tried to delete my profile  on the 12th October (PureValuGal), but on checking after the 72-hour limit I find that it is still there.   I wonder if there is some problem with the system which means that profiles are not being deleted?

I have been successful in meeting someone through Fusion101, therefore I not longer want to be posted as being available.

I thought I’d commend you for your site, I read through some heart warming testimonials and yours too. I haven’t joined as of yet. I hope you’re happily married now- as sacrificial and selfless as you’ve been? You didn’t quite mention your own happiness.

It is rather quite… the throwing arrows in the dark ( pardon irony since we are the light and salt)  when it comes to God-centred virtues, values and lifestyle oriented relationships be it of friendship, or romance appeal.. I hope this message finds you well, reaching out to you for help with my account’s closure as I have met a special someone on Fusion and would like to come off the site.

I went through the necessary motions to close the account and according to the notice I got on the screen, the account should have been closed on 25th May, however, when I checked today, it still seems up and running. When I go through the “close the account” link again, I get the same message re: the account to be closed on 25th May (please see screenshot attached) – must be some technical glitch, would be grateful if you could help resolve it.

Hope you are doing well since I spoke to you on phone . I read your testimony by the way and could completely relate to it and was moved and inspired by your amazing commitment and dedication to help singles. Thank You for being so open and honest and pouring your heart and money into a ministry that really is a blessing (TRULY). Thanks for still caring even though you are now married yourself. Your passion to see others find companionship is really special. I have no idea if anything will come to fruition through fusion101 for me, but it is nice to know that there is a safe avenue where I can connect with other Christian Singles – whether romantic or as friends. “Especially coming from NZ where it is hard to meet someone”. I love the fact that there are events in the UK. Visiting the UK again has been a personal goal of mine for a while (God Willing). If I do it would be great to attend a Fusion event.

I just realised that we never contacted you to tell you that we found each other on your site and are now married which is amazing:) so we wanted to say a big thank you to you!! We really wanted to find a genuine Christian life partner but it was hard to find a sincere Christian who we were also attracted to.  Fusion101 has people who have a genuine relationship with Jesus and a great variety of people to connect with for friendship and/or marriage.  I know it’s just you think everyone online is a creep but they’re not and   website is great I went on a few dates on it and they were all genuine believers and it really is so hard to find Christian singles now so if it encourages people to go on and reduces the chance of people settling and being unevenly yoked then we are happy to help. My name is Lawrence, from Nigeria. Married. A Music and Word Evangelist. I don’t know how to explain this. I just woke up now and I find it hard to have my quiet time because of a vision the Lord showed me. I had a revelation concerning a dating and match-making site called Fusion or i-fusion for Christian Singles.

Why I’m sending you this mail is because first, I don’t know why I had such message cos I have no idea as at last night that any site as such exist. Secondly, I saw myself  in that vision in the midst of my friends telling them that the Lord asked me to open a website just as yours. I was so determined in the vision that all I needed to do was to wake up and ask a developer to build an App for me on this.

Just now, I decided to ask Google maybe something would pop up (though I was expecting a lot of jargons) only to see your site-‘fusion 101’. I’m actually sending you this mail not much because I have a specific request from you, I’m just astonished at how vision could be so real in the main world.

I would still go on to pray for the meaning of the vision I saw to know what the Lord want me to do- about yours or a new one. But I strongly believe that your free Christian dating site is more of spiritual than physical. Keep the fire burning.
