Here’s a great little letter of encouragement one of our members sent me – I need some sometimes as even though it’s incredibly rewarding when I get notified of single members meeting and marrying – running 101 Free Christian Singles is sometimes quote a lonely and thankless task! I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did!

Subject: general hello and testimony of a friend

to me

Hi there Edward.

I just felt compelled to write to you, as I have recently revisited fusion101.  I like the new look of it!  I read your bio, and I am just so touched that you have such a heart for serving Christian singles in this way.

A friend and I were just on the phone talking about how it can be really hard being a single of “a certain age” and people in our church kind-of not knowing what to do with us!

She was saying that today when asked how she was doing, she first said “fine”, then decided to be a little transparent and say, “actually, I’ve been kind-of lonely lately”- to which the friends didn’t know what to reply and they just changed the subject! Ugggh.  It’s tough out there.  You want to meet a quality believing Christian person, but you can only go to so many social functions and weddings without success before you start to lose hope!

Anyway – I’ve never had any luck online on any dating site, but one of my closest friends did meet her (now) husband on your free Christian dating site – I don’t know that she’s the kind of person to write a bio to tell you that, but they are perfect for each other and so very happy.

I’m so curious- are you passionate about helping Christian singles because you are one and wished someone would help you out –  so you’re doing something about it OR are you a married person who just didn’t forget what it’s like and want to be sure to serve an underserved community in our Church?  Whichever it is – thank you for your care and for your time- may you be blessed for it.  Have a great day!
