Mail & Messages

To send standard email-type messages

1. First open a member’s profile who you want to message via one of the following links (also found by clicking your profile photo thumbnail top right of page): Search Profiles | Your Friends List | Your Likes | Your Sent & Received Messages | Community Wall | Groups | Chatroom.
2. Next look for a blue speech bubble labelled ‘Private Message‘ to send standard email-like ‘messages. If you only see 3 dots under their profile photo, click the dots to see all  options. If you still can’t see all messaging options, view the site on a large screen (PC/MAC/Laptop).
3. Lastly, to send a standard email-type message you MUST enter something in the subject box or the recipient cannot open it! Then type your message in the box below it and press [Send] or [Enter] or [Return] on your keypad.

To chat 1-1 live (only works if other user is online) 

1. click the second blue speech bubble (under the member’s profile photo under 3 dots) and a chat window will appear. Type your message and press [Return] or [Enter] on keypad.

To Open & Read Messages..

• Just click the message’s SUBJECT LINE.
  NOTE: sometimes our external ‘You have new mail’ alert emails (to Hotmail/Gmail) do not reach member’s inboxes, so periodically login to check for new mail/profile activity.

To Reply to Messages..

• Open My Messages (under profile icon top right of any page – or under three lines on mobile). Click message subject to open. Write reply and press Send. Please enter subject (or member will not be able to open), enter message below, then hit Enter or Return on your keypad!
