hope you’re having a great 2018. A quick update;
I’ve spent the last several months working on a number of things apart from admin and keeping fusion online (sometimes quite a challenge) which can take it out of me and slow me down. I have transferred many of my old sites to new easier to manage platforms to enable me to concentrate on singles and hopefully sometime get back into giving members the means to organise local social gatherings – my original (way back in 2000) and ultimate goal – if I can just get the time for a clear run at it. I had a site in 2000 called ‘Christian Parties’ ) a bad choice name in retrospect:) that was basically a simplified version of Meetup.com which appeared much later in the mid 2000’s but I had to abandon it. Not so now!
I’ve nearly completed a new Christian social network Facebook alternative (seems well timed in light of recent Facebook revelations). Im still testing it and its a work in progress (its not the first Christian social network I’ve made but this time I think it will not have all the tech issues I had previously) – it’s at https://www.101christiansocialnetwork.com – you’re welcome to jump on it but I still have some layout issues and things to iron out. There are several thousand members than need to switch from my old social network site but this is my first mention of it and I’ve not emailed them yet.
I also managed finally (13 years overdue but better late than never:) create a new Christian singles site. I wont hand out the address yet as I need to make sure it’s very stable before launch. It won’t replace my free service (fusion101.com). It’s a pay service – reason being that’s been requested by members for years as it will increase security and weed out more time-wasters. But the other reason is Adsense are squeezing the life out of many ‘conservative’ sites like mine in terms of advertising revenue, so we need a means to fund 101. Oh – I forgot to say – trusted members, supporters and anyone who cant afford the $3pm fee and can talk me into it can join free as far as I care – I just need a little bit more revenue to make things doable.:)
Between that I have been trying to learn as much as possible to make it all work and hope to also make some updates on Fusion and put it on a new faster server but several things that need to be fixed before I can do that.. 🙂
