Auto-Reply link/buttons are a quick way to let someone know you will reply to their mail later – or if you want to let them know that you are unable take the friendship/further. The Auto-Reply links are found at the bottom of all incoming mail from members (pictured right). To see messages sent by the auto-reply buttons, hover over the [?] icon next to the links.
The text sent by ‘Later‘ is; “Hi – I am busy right now but will get back to you asap.”
The text sent by ‘No Thanks‘ is; “Hi – thanks for your email but I am unable to take things any further at the moment.”
Why do we have these options?
Whilst some people have objected to having these options on the site, most people like them and appreciate that they help keep the site active, since without them people often don’t bother to reply at all until a long while later when they are able.
