Thoughts on 2018 – Bitcoin – Crypto-Currencies and Other Things

Hi Fusioneers – I pray you are all well?!
Apart from doing my usual 101 Christian singles admin and updating my PC with some more RAM, which took me a while to figure out which chips to but, but was worth it as it has made my computer like new (it’s been getting so slower in last year I could hardly work on it with their ever expanding operating systems) I’ve spent the last few days trying to get my head round crypto-currencies and Bitcoin. It’s been lurking in the back of my mind for ages to get to grips with it, as it’s pretty clear that for some time at least – or until the governments and banks get together to reign it in – or not as the case may be – that we should all at least start to understand it, and I’m sure many of you have already got your feet wet.

What is Bitcoin and a crypto-currency?

The idea itself is absolutely brilliant – a way of bypassing the greedy banks altogether who frankly I have a great distain for. The reason being – when we deposit our money in their ‘vaults’ (for no reason other than digital ‘money’ is the only way we can pay for things nowadays, and to this end they are advancing the abolition of cash as fast as they can so we have no other option but to use banks) which are now no more than electronic numbers on a server – we are effectively giving these already massively rich corporations – a free loan – they can then go and invest – or lend out our money at extortionate rates of interest to other unsuspecting victims. Not only that – they are allowed to lend up to ten times the money (digital numbers) they actually have on their computers at interest!?! How is that ok? If we did that – we would be you know where. And then – to cap it all – give us 0.000000001% interest in return on their investments – and in some cases they are now asking depositors to pay them to ‘look after’ our money (digital numbers) on their server – on top of giving them free loans in the first place!

The whole thing is frankly outrageous, and crypto currencies are designed to get round this scam. However – I must be honest and say – somewhere deep in my heart – I can’t believe the people will be allowed to get away with this totally independent crypto-currency lark for very long – but I could be wrong! And that’s why I think we should all get to grips with it if possible as it’s certainly here to stay for short and medium term.

Funding Fusion with Cryptos?

The other thing is, I was thinking I could offer members a means to donate via Bitcoin or other cryptos – and at their current rate of value increase – it might be a good, longer term way to fund fusion. And if I also put an affiliate link on the site to buy Bitcoin or others currencies, you guys could use it to buy yours and fusion would get a tiny commission. We shall see – I have to fit this in between staying off the PC for long enough not to get migraines and bouts improving the site which I haven’t been very good at recently and decided I will attack that in 2018.

Well – God bless you all and have a great Christmas and new year in 2018 – with Jesus squarely – front and centre in it!
